My name is Mohammed Al-Rashid (I will probably be changing it soon for personal reasons) and I am a 19 year old game developer. I first got into coding when I was 14, while playing Minecraft. I started by learning Java and ended up making two rather well know mods under the cringe-inducing username "LazerMan47", which were the Weapons+ mod and Sword Art Online HUD mod. At 16, I was introduced to Virtual Reality by the hit anime "Sword Art Online" and I fell in love with the concept. Virtual Reality is by definition an alternate reality that exists in a virtual space, a reality where anything is possible. I started researching and found out about modern day VR like the Oculus Rift and was extremely impressed and excited, so much so that I decided to buy a DK2. Shortly after I reclieved it, I learned Unity and began developing small demos. From then to now, I have been developing tech demos and VR experiences. I am dedicated to the advancement and popularization of Virtual Reality, and I look forward to creating new worlds for people to experience. Outside of Virtual Reality and computer development, I enjoy art and pop culture entertainment. I 3D model and 3D print objects and own a modded RoBo3D R1+ with a dual extruder. I draw as well, although I'm not all that good at it. I am also a very big anime fan, and I go to conventions and cosplay. You can find more of the nerdy side of me on my personal media sites.
